[en] The monitor to monitor I131 in air consists of a relatively small flow chamber, which is filled with adsorption material (molecular sieve, Ag activated carbon) and an NaI(Tl) scintillation detector. In case of a fault, the output of the chamber can be increased by increasing the speed of rotation of a proportional roller, so that the filter material can quickly be replaced. (HP)

Der Monitor zur Ueberwachung von I-131 in Luft besteht aus einer relativ kleinen Durchflusskammer, die mit Adsorptionsmaterial (Molekularsiebe, Ag-aktivierte Aktivkohle) gefuellt ist, und einem NaI(Tl)-Detektor. Im Stoerfall kann die Foerderleistung der Kammer durch Erhoehung der Drehzahl einer Proportionierwalze gesteigert werden, so dass das Filtermaterial rasch ausgetauscht werden kann. (HP)Original Title
