[en] The conference heard a total of 32 papers of which 8 were inputted in INIS. These papers are centred on certain topical problems related to the manufacture of high purity steels, on impurities in steels, the effect of the radiation environment on steels made by different melting methods, argon protection against reoxidation during casting, the effects of secondary metallurgy on the properties of stainless austenitic steel, the properties of electroslag remelted steel, the metallurgic quality of the central part of ingots weighing 135 tons, and the chemical heterogeneity of ingots and castings.
