[en] A drum type storage for bresh and spent fuel element bundles of nuclear reactors, mainly fast neutron reactors is described. The drum type storage consists of a vessel, a cover fixed in the upper part of the vessel and having openings for bundles realoading rotor with pockets for fuel element bundles and hollow shaft inside of which the tube for cooling medium supply and rotor drive. With the aim of preventing from cooling medium outflow through the channel for its supply, the channel goes into the lower part of the drum type storage vessel near the level of free surface of the cooling medium and is conected by the opening with external space above the heat release area of fuel element bundles
