AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of the invention was the widening of feasibility of a streamer chamber. This aim is achieved with the following means: 1) a streamer chamber containing a solid target is equipped with a container for the target and its dimensions in the direction of electric field are smaller at least by an order than interelectrode gap and 2) the container, which axis coincides with the axis of an accelerated particle beam quided onto the target has thin walls and is filled with gas whic has highly dielectric properties as compared with working gas of the chamber. The container size in the direction of electric field is two times larger than the target size. The given streamer chamber permits to perform experiments with any solid target including a target of conducting material, permits to record all the particles entering and outgoing from the target. The application of gas insulation excludes the formation of stationary discharge channels which reduce the isolator lifetime
