AbstractAbstract
[en] The cross section for α-particle production as a result of evaporation from compound nucleus in the 232Th+40Ar (240 MeV) reaction has been calculated. The calculated value turns out to be two orders of magnitude smaller than that observed experimentally. It is proposed to interpret this discrepancy by conceiving the fusion process as the extreme case of deep inelastic transfer reactions. The cross section for evaporated α-particle production from compound nucleus in the 232Th+40Ar (240 MeV) reaction has been calculated. The calculated values turned out to be two orders of magnitude smaller than those observed experimentally. The interpretation of observed discrepancy based on concepts on the fusion process as the extreme. In the framework of this approach an enhanced yield of equilibrium a porticles is the result of the decay of α-cluster confition of the binary nuclear systemy before the formation of a compound nucleus. Such configuration is formed in the process of binary nuclear system evolution on the way to complete fusion of its nuclei
