AbstractAbstract
[en] The invention is on the water-soluble composition of matter selected from the group consisting of sup(99m)Tc-methanehydroxydiphosphonate, sup(99m)Tc-methanehydroxydiphosphonate-tin, sup(99m)Tc-methanehydroxydiphosphonate-iron, sup(99m)Tc-methanehydroxydiphosphonate-chromium and sup(99m)Tc-methanehydroxydiphosphonate-titanium. Another aspect of the invention is a process for preparing a water-soluble salt of methanehydroxydiphosphonic acid and a heavy metal selected from the group consisting of tin, iron, chromium and titanium, the heavy metal being in a reduced valence state. The process consists of reacting methanehydroxydiphosphonic acid or a water-soluble alkali metal, ammonium, alkylammonium, alkanolammonium salt or an ester of the acid which hydrolyses under use to the free acid or anion form of the acid, with a water-soluble salt of the heavy metal in a reduced valence state
