AbstractAbstract
[en] The invention has been aimed at a solid-state track detector on the basis of cellulose nitrate with an improved signal-to-noise ratio for the ionizing corpuscular radiation detection in a neutron field. The detector can be applied in particular to the local radiation field imaging, to induced autoradiography, e.g. on geological samples, semiconducting materials or metals, to nuclear physics and nuclear engineering, to radiometry and dosimetry. The new detector consists of cellulose nitrate in which the nitrogen with a natural isotopic composition has been replaced by the isotope 15N either completely or partly. It is suitable for a neutron dosimeter by combining foils of varying 15N content
