AbstractAbstract
[en] The container of the unit for detection of ionizing radiation may be connected to the pipe fitting. It consists of a tubular body which on one end has a head and flange. The partition closing the tube is inside the head. The partition may be a hollow body which, on the connecting side of the flange, stands out from the head. The head may be provided with a hollow cylindrical fitting. The use of the container eliminates the necessity of using branch pipes and throughflow vessels in the piping, which allows higher efficiency to be attained than is that achieved by merely putting the detection unit to the piping. The use of the container is operative and advantageous especially in the industry which processes radioactive raw materials where liquids and suspensions containing uranium are transported by pipes, or in the research of the technological parameters of processes using artificial radioisotopes.
