AbstractAbstract
[en] This report reviews the different stages of the development of the nuclear measurement program carried out in MARIUS and CESAR on lattices of high temperature reactors with a slightly-enriched uranium fuel cycle. The international framework in which the program takes place is recalled. Taking into account the French interest evolution in this reactor type to the study of Fort Saint Vrain type reactors, a program is proposed for the years 1973-1974. The MARIUS and CESAR reactors have been modified to carry out the experimental studies on reactors using moderately enriched uranium and graphite moderated. The study of coated fuel particles as base of fuel elements required new equipments. Several experiments of a new type have been planned (PCTR, fuel sphere stack study), as also the utilization of new calculation methods (codes WIMS and APOLLO). 16 refs

Ce rapport retrace les differentes etapes du programme de mesures neutroniques effectue dans MARIUS et CESAR sur les reseaux de la filiere des reacteurs a haute temperature a cycle de combutible a uranium faiblement enrichi. Nous rappelons dans quel cadre international ce programme se situe; nous examinons les renseignements deja obtenus, a la fois a partir des experiences faites au CEA et grace aux echanges avec des laboratoires etrangers. En tenant compte de l'evolution de l'interet francais dans cette filiere vers l'etude des reacteurs du type de celui de Fort Saint Vrain, nous proposons un programme qui pourrait etre realise dans les annees 1973 et 1974. La preparation et la realisation du programme RHT dans le prolongement des etudes experimentales sur les reacteurs a uranium naturel moderes au graphite ont impose un important travail de transformation et d'adaptation; sur le plan des intallations, les deux reacteurs MARIUS et CESAR ont ete adaptes a ces nouveaux reseaux; l'apparition de particules enrobees comme base des elements combustibles a necessite des equipements nouveaux pour les laboratoires; plusieurs experiences d'un type nouveau ont ete prevues (PCTR, etude des empilements de boulets), ainsi que l'utilisation de nouvelles methodes de calcul, plus raffinees et plus complexes (les codes WIMS et APOLLO)Original Title
