AbstractAbstract
[en] The epoxy process for embedding spent ion exchange resins and evaporator bottoms from power plants is examined in this paper. Dried or dripped wastes, including soda pretreatment for ion exchange resins, are mixed with epoxy in 200 l drums, after polymerization package is transferred in a steel container for storage. Results of development of this process in chemical and technological field are reported. By modifications of epoxy formulation the following objectives have been reached: use of embedding products free from volatile solvent, elimination of neutralization pretreatment, polymerization independent of waste acidity, and possibility of embedding high humidity. Main properties of final products are examined
