AbstractAbstract
[en] Technique for electrodynamical treatment of a superconducting magnet of a wire stabilized with normal metal is described. The technique consists in conducting current pulses in the winding with the amplitude value exceeding that of mark current. To decrease the refrigerant flow rate, improve superconducting magnet performances and decrease superconducting material consumption the magnet is cooled to the liquid nitrogen temperature. Then current pulse is conducted along the winding for the time span not less than relaxation time of stresses in a magnet
