AbstractAbstract
[en] The parameters of a neutron detector with the NE-213 liquid scintillator which filled the teflon cuvette of long sizes have been investigated. It is shown that light attenuation effects are sufficiently weaker for the teflon cuvette comparing to the glass cells with an external reflector. The value lambda=7-10 m has been obtained for the light absorption length in the NE-213 scintillator. It sufficiently differs from the value lambda=1.5 m measured earlier by other authors. The data obtained allow a conclusion that the NE-213 scintillator may be successfully used in large sized (approximately 1 m) neutron detectors
