[en] The formation and loss reactions of CO2 and C2 were studied under conditions which are rather simple for analysing them in discharge plasma of helium with addition of CO and sometimes O2. These studies together with the ones studying plasma characteristics made it possible to find the main pathways of CO2 formation and loss, and to determine rate constants for the reactions. Similar (somewhat more qualitative) results are obtained for C2. (author)
