AbstractAbstract
[en] Using stable Li 6 and Li 7 isotopes, the authors measured the coefficients of diffusion of lithium ions in an LiNb03 single crystal in the direction of growth of the crystal. Comparison of the experimentally measured electrical conductivity at a partial oxygen pressure of 105 Pa with the value calculated from the values of the coefficient of diffusion using the Nernst-Einstein equation shows conclusively that the ionic conductivity in LiNb03 is determined solely by lithium ions
