AbstractAbstract
[en] The magnetic properties were studied with a vibration magnetometer over the 4.2-300 k range at magnetic field strengths up to 8.105 A/m. The investigation showed that TiU2S5 is antiferromagnetic with temperature of 25 K, while ZrU2S5 and HFU2S5 are ferromagnetic with temperature equal to 65 and 180 K respectively. It is presumed that in ZrU2S5 and HFU2S5 domains with narrow boundaries are present. In weak fields and at low temperature these domains are stationary. The antiferromagnetism of TiU2S5 is evidently related to a substantial reorganization of band structure and a change in the density of states at the Fermi surface
