[en] The authors summarize their conclusions concerning the relevance of studying retroviruses in relation to radiation-induced lymphomas and leukemias in relation to the papers in this section of the symposium held at Universite de l'Etat, Liege, Belgium, 23-25 September 1985. They also summarize the sectional papers concerned with the cellular biology of radiation-induced thymic lymphomas, with particular reference to Kaplan's scheme of split dose irradiation and the T-cell lymphoma model.
