AbstractAbstract
[en] Sr-90 and Cs-137 in rice were determined using radiochemical analysis. Polished rice was collected in eight consuming districts when new crops were first put on sale. The sample was carbonized and ashed in a porcelain dish. The maximum values of Sr-90 and Cs-137 were 0.5 +- 0.20 pCi/kg in rice from Aomori and 3.1 +- 0.32 pCi/kg in rice from Nagasaki, respectively, which were collected in January, 1985. (Namekawa, K.)
