AbstractAbstract
[en] The Phenix Nuclear Plant (563 thermal megawatts, 250 electrical megawatts) is the prototype of the French Fast Breader Reactors. It was connected to the grid in December 1973 and went into industrial operation on July 1974. It produced in the first ten years of operation more than 12 106 megawatt hours with a global load factor greater than 58%. This paper presents a short description of the Phenix steam generators and the main characteristics of their geometry and materials. The operating results are also given. Finally the different incidents and the knowledge obtained during these ten years are described. (author)
