AbstractAbstract
[en] By applying bifurcation theory to a truncated Dyson-Schwinger equation for the quark propagator in massless QCD, we show that dynamical symmetry breaking occurs at a certain critical value of the coupling constant. Essential ingredients are 1. an effective dynamical mass for the gluon, and 2. a running coupling constant. (orig.)
