AbstractAbstract
[en] Tritium production in a sphere of /sup 6/LiD irradiated by a central source of 14-MeV neutrons reported previously has been reanalyzed. The /sup 6/LiD sphere consisted of 10 solid hemispherical shells nested with ampules of /sup 6/LiH and /sup 7/LiH located at 5.0, 7.7, 12.6, 20.0 and 30.0 cm from the center. The Los Alamos Monte Carlo Neutron Photon Transport Code was used to calculate neutron transport through the /sup 6/Lid and tritium production in the ampules. The model was three dimensional and employed ENDF/B-V cross sections
