AbstractAbstract
[en] The rate constants of excited iodine I(52P2) spin-orbit relaxation induced by a new class of compounds, deuterated oxygen-containing derivatives, were studied by means of kinetic absorption spectroscopy. The role of hydroxyl group in the deactivation processes of iodine by alcohols and lower carboxylic acids is discussed
