AbstractAbstract
[en] The Newman superposition model, developed for s-state ions, yields an accurate determination of the position of the paramagnetic ion in ferroelectric perovskites by comparing calculated and experimental parameters of the spin Hamiltonian. In this study, the authors employ the model to determine the position of trivalent gadolinium ions in polycrystalline lead titanate.
