AbstractAbstract
[en] The Teekloof Formation (Beaufort Group) sediments to the east of Aberdeen (South Africa) consist of mudstone, siltstone and fine-to very fine-grained lithic wackes and arenites. Sandstone lithosomes commonly have erosive bases and the vertical and lateral arrangement of lithofacies indicate that the environment of deposition was fluviatile. Uranium mineralization was syndepositional and was supplied to the stream waters in the form of soluble complexes by the weathering and leaching of acid volcanic and granitic rocks
