AbstractAbstract
[en] The simultaneous action of laser (a helium-neon laser, λ = 633 nm) and α-radiations on E. coli K-12 cells of different genotypes was studied. It was shown that survival of the cells exposed to both laser and α-irradiations was considerably higher than survival of those irradiated only with α-particles. The efficiency of modifying action of laser radiation depends on genotypical peculiarities of the cells. (author)
