[en] The possibilities of use of a color decoding of chest radiograms in patients with exudative pericarditis were discussed. The results of the determination of cardiac size and exudate in color decoding while comparing them with respective values obtained during investigation under the conditions of artificial pneumopericardium or normal cardiac size corresponding to that before pericarditis, showed sufficient accuracy of the method permitting its recommendation for a wide practical use
