AbstractAbstract
[en] Two recent experiments at SLAC are described, one on electron-proton elastic scattering out to Q2 = 31.3 (GeV/c)2, and another on 1800 elastic scattering from the deuteron out to 2.7 (GeV/c)2. The proton data yield new values for the magnetic form factor which are compared to predictions from perturbative QCD. Preliminary results from the deuteron measurement indicate the presence of a diffraction feature in the magnetic form factor B(Q2) at high Q2. Recent speculation on the neutron form factors at high Q2 and the implications for experiment are briefly described. (Auth.)
