AbstractAbstract
[en] The wastewater containing 2, 4, 6-trinitrotoluene was treated by the selected bacteria. By using radioisotope technique, it was showed that TNT was reduced to a steady transformation product 4-amino-2, 6-dinitrotoluene under neutral or acid condition. It was a water-soluble compound and was easy to excrete from human and animal bodies. The distributions of the transformation product were about 10% and 90% in bacterial cells and solution respectively
