AbstractAbstract
[en] IR, electron absorption and circular dichroism spectra of binuclear tetra-μ-mandelates of molybdenum (2) [Mo2{D-(-)-OOCCH(OH)xC6H5}4] and [Mo2{L-(+)-OOCCH(OH)C6H5}4] are investigated. It is stated that in all electron transitions of symmetric [Mo2O8]-chromophore Cotton effects are induced under the influence of asymmetric atom of optically active mandelate ligand. Analysis of obtained spectral data made it possible to carry out reference of observed electron transitions
