AbstractAbstract
[en] The geochemical distribution of uranium in magmatic rocks depends on the acidity and the amount of SiO2 of the rocks. The geochemical ratio of the uranium content is explained in Clark tabulation. The uranium first stage concentration would take place in high temperature (>7000) as an essential constituent in different accessory minerals. By decreasing of temperature between 400 to 1000C or even less than this during the hydrothermal processes, the primary uranium oxide veins and due to subsequent stages, the secondary minerals are formed. The deposits from magmatic origin are entitled mostly as ''vein type deposits''. In these magmatic environments, the constituted minerals would undertake a sort of alteration of which the metasomatism could be explained as a replacement one. The type of metasomatism has occurred as a remarkable phenomenon in Saghand amphibolites and episyenites. In Kali Kafi mine of the Anarak district, an albitic metasomatism has taken place in two mica granites. The sedimentary rocks, mostly sandstones, conglomerates, volcanic sediments and clastic facies as ''Host Rocks'' are another favorable environment for uranium mineralization which represent high uranium potential reserves. The uranium bearing sediments could be in immediate contact with parent rock or taking much distance from it like sivalyk formation in our neighbouring country (Pakistan) or calcret type sediments in evaporitic and playa type of Australia. In Iran the uranium mineralization is also well distributed in salt domes of the southern Zagros range. Also the uranium mineralization could occur in coal deposits like cheshmeh Gol coal mine in Khorasan. Finally, the concentration of U could somehow occur in oil fields. In these environments the uranium could be absorbed during an organic reduction process being concentrated in hydrocarbon area. For instance the uranium could be exploited as a by-product in most oil fields of southeast Zagros
