[en] The analysis of safety standards for the electromagnetic radiations of radiowave frequencies and microwaves of the USSR, USA, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Great Britain, FRG is given. Recommendations of IRPA/INIRC are presented. It is shown that the dose principle is the best one for biological evaluation but has great difficulties for its interpretation; preference is given to the use of the effective dose as a biological effect criterion. Some aspects of radiaion protection organization are considered
