[en] We investigated CT features of twenty-six proven cases of peritonitis carcinomatosa, and presented illustrative cases. We also discussed the differential diagnosis, and showed a case of pseudomyxoma peritonei and peritoneal mesothelioma. The deformity of the surface of the liver, so called scalloping, which has been described as one of the CT findings of pseudomyxoma peritonei, was observed in three cases of peritonitis carcinomatosa.
