[en] A longinteger algorithm is described. It is oriented on ES Fortran language. The necessity to keep much more than sixteen decimal digits appears in some calculations, in particular, when alternating sums are calculated where summands are biggest than sums themselves. The proposed algorithm is general for these tasks. It can be used in calculations of special functions and matrix elements in quantum mechanics
