[en] It is shown that the supernova 1985f has reached maximum brightness near June 12, 1984, 260 days before discovery, with B magnitude equal to 12m.1. The shape of B light curve is similar to the type I supernovae light curves. Absolute magnitude at maximum should be between - 17m.6 and - 19m.1
