AbstractAbstract
[en] The physics of high energy hadron-nucleus interactions is still in an early stage of development. There is a mass of data, but experiments with large acceptance and particle identification have only begun to appear. There are many successful phenomenological models, but the crucial question - is there anything interesting that can be learned from hadron-nucleus interactions and cannot be learned from hadron-nucleon interactions - remains unanswered. Much has been done and progress is clearly visible, but more work is necessary before the programs outlined in the introduction can be fully realized
