[en] ¹²C + ¹²C elastic scattering has been measured at E/A = 120 MeV/u and 200 MeV/u. Large surface transparency is observed which allows to determine the potential value down to small internuclei distance (R∝3 fm). A phenomenological analysis of the results shows the onset of a large surface transparency at higher energy. The real potential strength is found to decrease rapidly with the increasing incident energy, whereas a similar decrease of the imaginary part at the sensitive distance is combined with an increase of the diffuseness.
