AbstractAbstract
[en] Experience on detection of the (γ, 2γ) reaction on 125mTe nuclei based on observation of a double energy line with respect to 109.27 keV transition (i.e. with 218.54 keV energy) in 125mTe γ-spectrum under Moessbauer conditions is described. Such line must appear during simultaneous detector recording of two γ-quanta emitted with a source in one direction at the same time. γ-source was produced with neutron irradiation of beryllium telluride in a reactor. The source represented an elongated cylindrical body and was placed to a helium cryostat. Two germanium γ-detectors were outside the cryostat: one of them measured of spectrum of γ quanta emitted along the source symmetry axis, another - in the perpendicular direction. Measurements were performed at a room temperature and at 4.2 K. Small but quite marked double energy peak appears in the expected spectrum point on cooling the source. Such peak is not seen in spectrum from the second detector within the limits of measurement errors
