AbstractAbstract
[en] Microanalysis possibilities by nuclear microprobe have been explored to determine light element concentrations within glasses and volcanic minerals. In a first step, Carbon was examined. The study of different spectral interferences lead to calculate a detection limit better 30 μg/g for a basalt glass sample. Inspected samples are minerals (olivine and scapolite) and melt inclusions trapped within crystals from Etnean Scorea. The Carbon contents range from 70 to 6000 μg/g and heterogeneities were pointed out within glass inclusions. Precision of measurement is estimated about 20 %. Our results well agree with previous published data and are reliable. Further improvement of the experimental procedure should allow better determinations

On examine les possibilites de microanalyse par microsonde nucleaire pour determiner la concentration en elements legers des verres et mineraux volcaniques. Dans un premier temps on a analyse le carbone. L'etude des interferences spectrales permet de calculer une sensibilite de 30 ppm pour un verre basaltique. Les echantillons examines sont des mineraux (olivine et scapolite) et des inclusions vitreuses de cristaux provenant de scories de l'Etna. On estime la precision a 20 %.
