AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper presents the results of thermal analysis (TA) up to 1300 K of samples of products of fluorination of the layered graphite compound (LGC) C8 Cs that have been proposed for utilization in reactions of organic synthesis. X-ray diffraction and chemical analyses showed that the material obtained contains primatily graphite and cesium flouroide, as well as, very small amounts of other components, which can be classified as fluorinated graphite, C8 Cs, and C8 CsF. The data show that the material absorbs up to 5% by mass water during storage and that its exploitation is permissible at temperatures no higher than 700-750 K
