AbstractAbstract
[en] Continuous high-volume-reduction bituminization equipment (evaporating capacity : 200 kg/h) was developed by our company for treating liquid wastes arising at nuclear power plants. Its first unit was installed at the second reactor unit of Tsuruga Nuclear Power Station, Japan Atomic Power Co., Ltd. In designing this new equipment, efforts were made to achieve automation of operational control, efficient operatability, and further simplified maintainability. The results of the performance test runs were found very satisfactory, and the whole design objectives of this project were fully attained. (author)
