[en] We apply the OSp(1,1vertical stroke2) algebra with world-sheet metric to gauge-covariant string field theory. We show freedom from anomalies, and construct the free gauge-invariant action for open and closed strings as δ functions in OSp(1,1vertical stroke2) and IOSp(1,1vertical stroke2) algebras, respectively. These actions contain larger sets of auxiliary fields than the previous nonminimal forms. (orig.)
