AbstractAbstract
[en] In a previous work performed within the framework of the research programme of the European Community concerning the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, a procedure for the complete decontamination of austenitic materials has been developed in laboratory tests. In the present study, the application on a technical scale is described. A pipe piece of the primary steam duct of the Lingen Nuclear Power Station with a nominal diameter of 50 mm and a length of about 20 m was chosen as test object. As shown by the examination results, the pipe piece could be decontamined below the tolerance limits of the German Radiation Protection Regulation
