AbstractAbstract
[en] Several magnetic detector geometries for e+e/sup /minus// are studied. Use of the magnet coil as a radiator is considered as a way of building a compact field detector for hadron, photon, electron, and muon physics. The usefulness of e+e/sup /minus// elastic scattering to normalize μ+μ/sup /minus// rates under different conditions of beam polarization is emphasized. Toroidal and solenoidal muon detectors are compared. 5 refs., 9 figs
