AbstractAbstract
[en] The described connection features increased operating reliability attained by connecting the suction of the circulating pump to the cold collector of the steam generator with the concurrent reduction in suction head, the use of the ejector for transporting heated coolant from the area above the core to the hot collector of the steam generator and by the use of the rosette collector in the space of the heated coolant above the core which makes for an even throughflow of the coolant through the recooled core. The connection allows to make repairs of the main closing valves in WWER-440 reactors without having to remove nuclear fuel while totally reliable and renewable function of the two-arm cooling circuit is maintained. In WWER-1000 reactors the drainage is also made possible with concurrent stopping of the hot collector of three of the four loops to allow inspection and maintenance. (J.B.). 1 fig
