AbstractAbstract
[en] Defueling of the Three Mile Island Unit 2 (TMI-2) reactor continued through 1988. This report summarizes that work and other TMI-2-related cleanup, research, and development activities. The major topics include: waste immobilization; core transportation, receipt, and storage; abnormal waste; accident evaluation and technical integration programs; future uses and application of TMI-2 data. While some of the technology being developed is of direct benefit to the cleanup operations at TMI-2, it will also benefit the entire nuclear power industry
