AbstractAbstract
[en] The way from an experimental measurement to the numerical value for a CKM matrix element is described. How do we choose the appropriate model? What are the uncertainties involved? Where should we direct our future efforts? How do loop processes help us? Finally we describe the state of the art of our knowledge of the CKM matrix. 6 refs
