[en] Our research interests have been mainly in the dynamics of hadrons and superstrings, the related domains of the mathematics of grand unified theories and problems related to the nature of phase transitions. Dynamical studies will include calculation of the effects of soft non-perturbative ''string'' loops, both in quantum chromodynamics and in superstring theory. Attempts will be made to find simple rules that will help both in understanding Kac-Moody algebras, particularly the affine algebras, and in performing manipulations with representations which arise in various theories of fundamental particles and their interactions. The foundations of chiral perturbation theory will be examined critically, and critical phenomena in lattice system will be studied with some newly developed numerical methods
