AbstractAbstract
[en] A mathematical model, particularly a deposition model, is useful for evaluating the behavior of inhaled particles in the human lung. The particle deposition model is usually composed of a morphological model of the human lung, and models of respiration flow and of particle behavior in the lung. Recent development of deposition models is reviewed and some of the calculational examples are illustrated. (author)
