AbstractAbstract
[en] SCDAP/RELAP5-MOD2 UO2 liquefaction models for (a) the rate of liquefaction, (b) limits on the amount of UO2 that can be liquefied in molten Zircaloy, and (c) Zircaloy melting are described. Comparisons of the current and early models with the results from the PBF Severe Fuel Damage Test 1-4 bundle heatup and meltdown experiment are presented and discussed. 23 refs., 6 figs
