AbstractAbstract
[en] Profile emanation surveying using track detectors was carried out in the region of oil and gas deposits of West Turkmenistan and the Kobek upheaval, for the purpose of measuring the sensitivity of the radiometric method. A decrease in the radon concentration was observed in the subsoil atmosphere of the Kum-Dag and Kobek upheavals. This agrees with the results of γ-field measurements in the regions surveyed. It is shown that the measurement of the radon fields of the subsoil atmosphere by track detectors is more sensitive than the radiometric method of γ-surveying. 9 refs.; 4 figs
