AbstractAbstract
[en] The authors studied the activation of oncogenes in radiation-induced tumours of the respiratory tract obtained from beagles exposed by inhalation to plutonium-238 oxide or plutonium-239 oxide. Among eight tumours and several control samples examined, one case of tumour-related oncogene over-expression has been detected. This observation could mean that few genes or oncogene products are associated with plutonium-induced carcinogenesis of the lung. (author)
